Auction Rules

All participants of the convention, regardless of the badge type, is allowed to bid on items in the Auction.  However, only people that have a true badge (i.e. no visitor wrist bands) may submit items into the Auction.

The following items are not allowed into the Auction:

  •  Firearms.

  •  Adult Pornographic Materials.

  •  Items whose contents can not be inspected (Unless they are sealed by the manufacturer).

  •  Items that may be considered offensive.

  •  Religious Items.

  •  Items that have no relationship to the intent of the show.

  •  Food.

  •  Any item that is regulated by the Federal, State or Local Law.

  •  Any item that the Tacticon Ownership, Tacticon Staff, or Auction Volunteers disallows for ANY reason.

All items must be first registered on site by a Tacticon staff member!

All items, after they have been registered online, must be taken to the REGISTRATION DESK for inspection.  If approved, you will be given a "Selling Form"

Take the Items and the "Selling Form" to the Auction Location.  The Auction Volunteers and Staff will accept the items and prepare it for sale.

If the item is NOT SOLD when it is presented to the buyers, the "Selling Form" will be marked as NO SALE and the Seller must take their Item.

If the item is SOLD, the "Selling Form" is marked with the price it was sold for, who purchased the item, and their name.

The buyer takes the form to payout area (located in the Auction area) to pay for the item.  (They can wait till the end of the auction)

After payment is accepted, the BUYER may take their new items!

Sellers can receive their payment after buyers have paid for the items the seller was selling.

The Show takes 15% of the total price the item was sold for.

ALL TAXES AND REPORTING OF SALES IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER AND SELLER. SHOW MANAGEMENT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING SALES.
